Friends, I’m JOSH FR3DA. I blend country, rock, alternative, and the blues with stories from my life and soulful swagger to make my fans feel deep and feel good. I’m deeply inspired by Freddie Mercury, Annie Lennox, James Brown, Aerosmith, Shania Twain, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Faith Hill. In July 2021, I was performing at a showcase in Chicago when I caught the attention of a Nashville producer and songwriter. We hit it off, started collaborating, and slowly wrote a bunch of songs together. My first record, an EP called Turn Him Loose, is an autobiographical battery for self-love and swagger. I sing about coming out, my dogs, physical insecurities, finding my sexy, and coming into my own. Really, I’m just singing out loud what I need to hear myself. Maybe you’ll relate? If so, boogie.
